In the sixth race, with a  fourth victory. Scott Pruett / Memo Rojas,  this Saturday (8), again won a race, the 6 hours at Watkins Glen, extending there advantage to 36 points in the lead from Jim Matthews / Marc Goossens.  David Donohue / Darren Law came in second and Max Angelelli / Michael Valiante, who made the pole position, finished in third. The duo of Ricardo and Nic, who at one point were leading the race, with Ricardo at the wheel, the team chose a different strategy and finished in 10th place.

The leadership came to Ricardo on lap 150. He remained in first place for six laps, dropped to second on the re-start and remained there until he needed to stop for the last time, with the laps from 165 of 179 completed. "We had a car to win the race. We tried to stretch it out and were reaching for the yellow to come. But it didn’t come and we had to pit. We lost many positions because of this strategy".said Ricardo, who now focuses on 24 hours of Le Mans, which will run at the end of next week

This race, being six hours long, was the second longest race in Grand-Am, losing only to the 24 hours of Daytona. "The car was very good. I overtook many cars in the race. It was good. I drove for four hours, so I’m very exhausted.”said Ricardo, who remains in fifth place in the championship with 136 points. The leaders, Scott Pruett / Memo Rojas, have 202. The cars of  Grand-Am are back on the track only after the 24 hours of Le Mans. The next Race , which is set for June 22, will be held in Mid-Ohio, also in the United States.

The next time to see Ricardo on the track will be at Le mans 24 hour race 14/15th June, when Ricardo will race in the 24 hour race with the Peugeot team.
