In a moment of the race, the two Panasonic Racing drivers were close to scoring points, but this goal failed due to many problems. In the case of Ricardo, the defect was in what he called "junta homocinética" (CV joint);which is responsible of the transfer of the power of the engine to the wheel. "I was about to score points, but then came the first pit stop and we lost several positions. Afterwards I had a problem that forced me to abandon the race", said Ricardo, who stopped in the middle of the race, with 25 laps completed.
