Ricardo Zonta 2005

Ricardo headed to the Autodromo Nazionale di monza to do his normal friday work in practice and in the first session he managed to finish sixth with a time of 1:22.567s. In the second session he left the Mclarens in the shade, outpacing pedro de la rosa by over a second with a time of 1:20.531s.

Ricardo had this to say about his time on the track: "I wasn't quite happy with the car in the morning because it was difficult to get any grip. The track wasn't particularly dirty and it was similar to last week's test. But we improved the car a lot for the second practice. We found something good on the tyres, too. We know that this could be a difficult track for us, but we've made good progress today."
