Ricardo Zonta 2005

Ricardo once again took up his role as friday driver at the hockenheimring in germany, managing to finish 2nd in first practice with a time of 1:14.893 and completing 27 laps, he then went on to complete 34 laps in the second practice, finishing 5th fastest with a time of 1:16.091s.

Ricardo had this to say about his practice sessions on the toyota f1 web site “Because of the threat of rain for this afternoon we had to put in a more intense session of work than usual this morning, including a couple of medium-long runs. In the end we had enough time to put in our usual long runs anyway, but when I put on new tyres at the end to do a quick lap I hit traffic on the last sector so I could have gone quicker.”
