Ricardo Zonta 2004

Ricardo was doing the normal tyre evaluation in the first practice session of the spanish gp and completed 26 laps and finished 4th with a time of 1:16.639s, In the second session he was running on the tyres that had been chosen to use for the gp and finished 3rd fastest with a time of 1:16.360s after 37 laps.

Ricardo had this to say of his sessions :"An encouraging start to the race weekend. In the first session we did a tyre comparison and were able to benefit from things we already tested in Mugello at the end of April. This afternoon we conducted a long run in order to confirm our tyre choice. The team has worked very hard at the test sessions and additionally this track suits the TF104 well, so I am hopeful that we will be in a condition to score our first championship points of the season this weekend."
