Ricardo Zonta 2004

Ricardo was driving the TF104/06 chassis at San Marino and was working on the usual tyre evaluation for the grand prix drivers. In his first session he completed 20 laps, finishing 10th with a time of 1:23.161s and in the second session he finished 19th with a time of 1:23.500s after completing another 20 laps. ricardo was forced to stop with a suspected gear box problem, Ricardo had this to say about his sessions: "Generally it was a productive day. We were able to gather some valuable data for our tyre evaluation. The track was changing this morning but it had cleaned up by the second session, when conditions were more stable. Unfortunately my second session finished earlier because of a transmission problem. I felt the rear of the car lock up which caused me to stop. That was the end of my day’s activity."
